The Spider Base Module from NorStone Designs looks different from other audio racks, thanks to its superior design and sleek French styling. It provides a super-strong foundation for creating your own custom Spider audio component rack using Spider 1, Spider 2, and Spider 3 Shelf Modules (sold separately). Or use the Spider Base Module on its own as an exceptional amp stand.The Spider Base Module is 25.6″ wide, 4.7″ high, and 23.7″ deep. The space between the bottom of the steel shelf frame and the floor is approximately 1.4″.
Flagship Design for Vibration DampingThe Spider is NorStone’s flagship rack design for vibration-damping component support. The support structure is capable of supporting heavy components weighing up to 88 pounds. It consists of a steel frame with tubular steel legs, and it holds a strong .6″-thick shelf in your choice of tempered black glass or solid hardwood with real bamboo wood veneer.Each Spider module provides multiple layers of vibration damping and isolation, with three vibration-absorbent components on each level. The tubular steel legs have vibration-absorbing pads on top for supporting additional shelf modules. The legs terminate in isolating floor spikes. Additionally, the tempered glass or bamboo veneer shelf inserts are supported by exclusive NorStone Damp50 vibration-damping silicone connectors. The shelves themselves are also designed to absorb vibrations.
