The Wharfedale Denton 85th Anniversary is a two-way bookshelf speaker that beautifully marries classic design with modern technology. Handcrafted in Mahogany, it features an inset front baffle and a traditional Tungsten cloth grille, evoking the timeless elegance of vintage speakers. Beneath its classic exterior, the Denton 85th Anniversary utilizes a blend of traditional craftsmanship and advanced audio technology. The bass unit is equipped with Wharfedale’s innovative woven Kevlar cone, mounted on a rigid die-cast chassis, delivering rich and detailed bass and midrange output with impressive dynamic performance. High frequencies are managed by a woven textile soft dome treble unit with a high flux ferrite magnet, engineered to provide smooth and detailed high-frequency extension.

This limited edition speaker not only pays homage to Wharfedale's rich heritage but also enhances it with contemporary advancements. The unique design includes an 8-degree angled treble unit that improves sound dispersion and optimizes the transition between the bass and treble drivers. The use of neodymium iron boron magnets in the high-frequency driver ensures excellent sound analysis and an expansive soundstage, while the upgraded 6.5-inch Kevlar bass driver significantly boosts low-frequency energy.
